CompuVision E-Mail
Having trouble sending mail?
One of the easiest things you can check in your configuration is what your e-mail address is set to. Go into your configuration and see that your e-mail address is entered correctly. If it is spelled incorrectly or it is another e-mail address with someone besides CompuVision then our server will not let you send mail. You have to have a valid e-mail address in order to send e-mail from our server. Be sure that the incoming and outgoing server names are mail.compuvision.net ..... Also check to see that the account name and password are typed in correctly. They should be in lowercase and no spaces.
At this time, due to security restrictions in place on our mail server now, customers connected to the Internet by means other than CompuVision dial-up or CompuVision DSL will be able to access our server via the web interface (click here). In order to use an email client (such as Outlook Express), you will have to enable outgoing server authentication. Call us if you do not know how to do that.
